Happy Arbor Day!

Whenever I go out into nature, I absolutely love looking at the trees. I love identifying the different leaves and looking closer at the bark varieties, the individuality of each tree is impressively unique. National Arbor Day, first held in 1872, advocates the planting and protection of trees.

This year, Stardust Photography has taken the initiative to help our beautiful environment one tree at a time. For each photography session, a tree will be planted in a national forest by the Arbor Day Foundation. The Arbor Day Foundation is a wonderful organization that allows seedlings to make it into the hands of eager planters. Among their missions is nursing injured forests back to health, which in turn reinvigorates wildlife habitat, filters out fresh air, and adds beauty to natural landscapes. I’m very happy to say the donations from my sessions will support this cause, so thank you very much for booking with Stardust Photography!

I did not realize today was National Arbor Day! Thanks for the reminder. These photos are beautiful. What time of day were these taken and where? And kudos to Stardust Photography and the Arbor Day Foundation for donating trees! Great idea.

Thank you! Aunt Pam – I took the first photo at about 8am on my way up to Powdermill, and the second around noon. You can see how the sun moves up the sky as the day goes along!
