Hello there! My name is Pam. I am a photographer based in Latrobe, Pennsylvania and Morgantown, West Virginia. I am inspired by people’s stories, a love for history, and the natural world.
My most memorable childhood experiences consist of visiting the Smithsonian and Carnegie museums, staring wide-eyed at rocket ships, Monet paintings, and taxidermied elephants. I have taken my interest in history to Saint Vincent College and West Virginia University, where I spend many long, quiet hours deep in historical archives. While leafing gently through old papers, and am consistently struck by one thing: photographs.
One of the greatest lessons I have taken away from studying history is that it does not only exist in large museums and higher education. History lives in your home, in the pages of dusty photo albums, in memories of family members and personal experiences. History is emotional, connecting you to your world and individuality.
History tells stories. I am grateful and excited to be part of yours.
