Happy Earth Day!

IMG7477 2

I love that natural light photography allows me to connect with people outdoors. I am thankful for local nature reserves and parks that preserve our beautiful landscape for both humans and all other living things to enjoy.

For every photo session, Stardust Photography donates a tree to the Arbor Day Foundation.

Favorites of 2014

2014 has been another wonderful year for Stardust Photography! For the first time, Stardust Photography went international. In March, my sister and I had the wonderful chance to tour Italy and Greece with Saint Vincent College. It was incredible to see places I had only ever seen in books and dreams. In May, I graduated from Saint Vincent with a degree in history. It was definitely one of the proudest moments of my life! Throughout summer and fall, I photographed a number of wonderful families, couples, and high school seniors. I added to my feline family by adopting another cat, Artemis. My first cat, Apollo, loves his sister!

Here is just a small sampling of my favorite photographs and experiences. Thank you all for the support!

My Artemis!

“Going to the woods is going home.”

We often go out looking for adventure, for thrilling sights and extravagant scenes. And yet I am struck by the beauty of places I return to time and time again. Just as birds fly instinctively to their summer home, and am refreshed by the comfortable simplicity of places like Powdermill Nature Reserve, whose trails I walked as a young child and still explore today.
